Welcome to our new home friends!
We moved from California to Arizona in June 2021. The best decision we’ve ever made.
This week I will share more about our move in upcoming posts. The future is so exciting!
But first, I am joining several sweet ladies for a Spring Hop!

Please check out our spring hop blogs with several other spring projects at the end of the Home Tour!
Come on In!

Our home here in Arizona is a lot smaller than our California Home.
Our Cali home was 2,800 square feet and our new Farmhouse is 1,800. It was both humbling and liberating to downsize.
In our previous home, I was cleaning rooms that no one walked into. Plus, it was a two story home and the stairs were becoming a nuisance to my husband with his neuropathy.
The Farmhouse is a welcome change!
Living Room & Kitchen

From the entry, the living room and kitchen is a huge open space!

Coffee Hutch
My favorite part of The Farmhouse is the built-in hutch. I made the space into a beverage center. Cups, teas, coffee and hot cocoa are in the drawers.

I love decorating it for the seasons.
Here it is a Christmas time.

Main Bedroom
Our new main bedroom is much smaller than in our previous house, but it fits us. The closet has enough room for our clothes and shoes. We have a door from our bedroom to the patio which I love in the mornings for letting the dogs out.

Main Bathroom
We have a marble walk-in shower with rain showerhead. I didn’t know I needed this until we moved. No more cleaning shower doors or curtains.

Laundry Room
Finally, the laundry room. I loved decorating this space. I was able to put in my grandmother’s hutch. It holds cookbooks and cookie making supplies.

Deanna, your house is stunning and I LOVE your windmill fan. My great-grandparent’s farm became a century farm in 2020. Do you have a tutorial on your lovely ribbon and wreaths that you hang? I would love to see that. Thanks for sharing.
Your home is so beautiful! I love the colors you have incorporated throughout, it’s so inviting and ready for Spring.

Your new home is beautiful, Deanna! I love the way you added your accent colors throughout and the way you’ve decorated. I’m looking to move out of CA as well and AZ is one of the states I’m considering. Thanks for the inspiration!
