Welcome Winter to Arizona!
Hi Friends!
It has been a rough year for us here on The Farmhouse.
Winter is coming soon. We have only had one snowfall so far. I am hoping we will have snow for Christmas this year. We have no plans to go anywhere and are hosting here. All our family is pretty local so how nice would it be to have snow on the ground?!
I have so much to share about the happenings at the farmhouse. It has been an eventful and emotional year for us. So many events to unpack and share. I have set up a schedule to start sharing more of the day to day activities. I hope the new year will provide more insight to what we are trying to accomplish.
We had our daughter’s wedding here in October. I will share more in The Journal. Tons of pictures!
Wayne’s workshop is completed except for two windows on the front of the building. The Workshop turned out to be much larger than we anticipated. He now has two loft areas for storage on each side. He needed it. That cleared up the old, tired shed we have for my table and garden storage.
We may have to wait awhile for the vegetable and flower gardens. That is supposed to be our winter project to build the raised beds.
Wayne built a pavilion in the backyard and we spruced up the chicken coop for our friends Choco, Black Diamond and Crystal (named by our grandson, Kollin). I will introduce you to the updated area in The Garden. The pavilion is spectacular!

Which brings me to planning…menu planning that is! Just enter your information and have my FREE menu planning calendars delivered to your email.
Want to peek at what is cooking in The Kitchen? I have recipes for Sugar cookies, Apple Crisp with Brown Sugar Streusel Topping and a hearty Chicken Vegetable Soup.
I hope you will look around!
